Graduate Equity Analyst
You identify fundamentally driven trading opportunities, collaborate with traders to capture them, perform scenario analysis around events and catalysts, analyse time-sensitive company headlines, develop research processes, identify market inefficiencies, build industry networks, and use AI-enabled tools to analyse and validate market information.
Responsibilities
- Identify fundamentally driven trading opportunities
- Work with traders to capture trading opportunities
- Perform scenario analysis for upcoming events and catalysts
- Analyse time-sensitive company headlines
- Assess the impact of events on volatility and stock prices
- Develop research processes
- Identify areas of market inefficiency
- Build relevant industry networks
- Use AI-enabled tools to analyse news, events and company information
- Validate AI tool output and improve research tooling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM, Finance, Economics or business-related subject
- Available to start full-time work in August 2027
- Genuine interest in financial markets
- Willingness to learn new techniques and skills and teach others
- Ability to develop fundamental research-driven ideas independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Time management, organizational and multitasking skills
- Computer programming experience preferred
