What you’ll do:
Involve in daily cash management and cash forecasting activities as well as support the Group Treasurer in liquidity planning.
Assist in dealing, execution, and confirmation of FX transactions to ensure compliance with the Treasury Policy.
Entering and maintenance of all treasury transactions (FX hedging, Interest rate instruments, Investments and Borrowings) in the Treasury Management System (Gtreasury)
Hedge accounting and fair valuation of the derivative instruments in accordance with AASB 9 and AASB 7
Assisting with audit preparations and collaborating on month-end activities, including accounting, reconciliation and reporting tasks.
Participating in strategic treasury projects and initiatives and supporting the Group Treasurer as required.
What we’re looking for:
Corporate treasury experience in a mid to large-size company with some experience in coaching a junior team member.
Experience in managing in cash forecasting and liquidity management
Familiar with financial markets and, executing and settlement of financial derivatives
Experienced in using Treasury Management Systems especially GTreasury, banking portals and Bloomberg platform.
Experienced in hedge accounting and working knowledge of AASB 9 and AASB 7
A team worker who can also work autonomously, with strong Excel and Alteryx skills and attention to detail.
Analytical thinking and committed to continuous improvement of processes and controls.
Effective communication and active listening skills to facilitate feedback, escalation management, and collaboration across teams.
