About the role:

As Head of Finance, you will have a key role in the management and evolution of the business, acting as a strategic partner to the Management team and ensuring that our decisions are backed by a solid, rigorous, and results-oriented financial vision.

You will be responsible for leading the local financial strategy, combining planning, analysis, and control with a close look at the business. We are looking for someone capable of navigating a dynamic environment, transforming data into decisions, and combining a strategic vision with agile, hands-on execution.

How will you help us achieve our mission?

• You will be a strategic business partner, supporting the Country Manager and the Management team in decision-making, providing a financial perspective that allows for anticipating risks, identifying opportunities, and maximizing profitability.
• You will lead financial performance planning and management, including budget, forecast, P&L, and cash flow, tracking key KPIs and business drivers, identifying deviations, and proposing actions to ensure objectives are met.
• You will evaluate new projects and business initiatives from a financial perspective, developing business cases, profitability analyses, and scenarios that allow for informed decision-making and optimized resource allocation.
• You will guarantee the robustness of financial and accounting operations, ensuring the correct execution of processes such as accounting closes, reporting, treasury, payments, and tax obligations.
• You will ensure an appropriate environment for control, compliance, and financial risk management, ensuring adherence to policies and standards, as well as coordinating internal and external audits.
• You will drive the efficiency and scalability of Finance, identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, and continuous process improvement that allow for optimizing resources and raising the quality of financial information.
• You will work cross-functionally with local and global teams, facilitating the connection between Finance and the various areas of the business and promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
• You will lead and develop the Finance team, setting clear priorities, promoting autonomy and accountability, and supporting the growth of individuals to build a high-performance team.

What are we looking for?

• Affinity with our principles
• University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid experience in financial leadership positions, ideally in technology companies, startups, marketplaces, or multinationals with dynamic and fast-growing operations.
• Experience managing P&L, budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and financial analysis, with the ability to understand key business drivers and translate them into decisions and action plans.
• Solid knowledge of accounting, financial control, taxation, and compliance, as well as experience managing audits and interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to combine a strategic outlook with hands-on execution, diving into the details when necessary without losing sight of the overall business vision.
• Critical thinking and analytical capacity, with the judgment to constructively question, identify opportunities, and make decisions in dynamic, high-speed contexts.
• Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear and actionable messages for different stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing teams, fostering autonomy, clarity, collaboration, and accountability.
• Advanced English, with the ability to fluently prepare and present financial reports, business plans, and analyses in this language.
