Hoffman Chief Financial Officer

Role Purpose

The Chief Financial Officer position is accountable for the administrative and financial operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

Leadership

East & West Controller(s), Accounting & Compliance Manager, and Employment Administrator

Core Accountabilities

  1. Work in conjunction with the Executive team and Ownership to maintain accurate financial statements that help guide the teams by being data driven
  2. Assist in formulating the company's future direction/ acquisitions and supporting tactical initiatives
  3. Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  4. Manage the budgeting process
  5. Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
  6. Manage and direct operational best practices
  7. Oversee employee benefit plans, with emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package. Utilize TEC for rollout and change management
  8. Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
  9. Arrange for debt and equity financing
  10. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  11. Develop financial and tax strategies
  12. Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
  13. Train and develop the East and West Controller(s), and in turn the accounting team, as well as create a desirable “One Hoffman" culture to improve talent attraction and turnover
