Core tools include HRIS platforms and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Furst-McNess Company is hiring a full-time HR Data Analyst based out of our Rockford, IL headquarters office.

Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000 (compensation will be determined by relevant experience and the interview process)

Pay Type: Salary, paid bi-weekly

Core Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

Work Setting: Hybrid/Remote

  • This position may be structured as either hybrid or fully remote depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
  • Candidates must reside within driving distance of Rockford, IL and be available to travel to our office periodically for meetings, training, and collaboration with team members.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of employee and organizational data within the Company's HR systems. This role supports workforce reporting, analytics, compliance, and business decision-making by developing reports, monitoring key workforce metrics, identifying trends, and ensuring reliable HR data. The HR Data Analyst partners with HR and business leaders to improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain accurate and consistent employee and organizational data across HR systems

  • Conduct data audits and resolve discrepancies to support data integrity and compliance

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute HR reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics

  • Analyze workforce data and trends to provide insights that support business decisions

  • Support HR data governance efforts by maintaining data standards, processes, and documentation

  • Assist with HR system enhancements, upgrades, implementations, and data-related projects

  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify reporting needs and provide data-driven solutions

  • Support compliance, audit, and regulatory reporting requirements

  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting processes, and operational efficiency

  • Assist users with reporting tools, data requests, and HR system-related questions

  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years of experience supporting HR systems, reporting, analytics, or a related business function

  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and employee data management

  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion

  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or data migration projects preferred
