HR Manager, Air/Sea Freight Forwarding/ Logistics
Centrum Solutions Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in the Air & Sea Freight Forwarding industry to join our Singapore team.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of HR experience within an Air Freight, Sea Freight, Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or International Transportation company
- Strong understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics working environment
- Good knowledge of Singapore employment regulations and HR practices
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, payroll coordination, and HR administration
- Experience supporting operational and commercial teams within a freight forwarding environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work independently and establish effective HR processes
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Russian language capability will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of HR activities for the Singapore office
- Lead recruitment for freight forwarding, operations, sales, commercial, and corporate positions
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with Singapore regulations
- Manage onboarding, employee documentation, performance reviews, leave, benefits, and employee relations
- Support management in manpower planning and organisational development
- Coordinate payroll-related HR matters and maintain accurate employee records
- Build a strong company culture and support the development of an international workforce
- Ensure HR practices are aligned with the operational needs of the Air & Sea Freight Forwarding business
