Responsibilities

Responsibilities summary

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the HSE management system, ensuring compliance with Egyptian regulations and international standards.
• Conduct HSE training, inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture.
• Monitor site activities, perform inspections and audits, and ensure compliance with HSE policies, safe work practices, and PPE requirements.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective/preventive action plans.
• Oversee environmental compliance, waste management, and sustainability initiatives across operations and project sites.
• Maintain HSE documentation, permits, records, and prepare regular performance and compliance reports.
• Support continuous improvement by monitoring HSE performance and ensuring timely closure of audit findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in HSE/QHSE, preferably within manufacturing, construction, renewable energy, or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, hazard identification, incident investigation, root cause analysis, electrical safety, LOTO, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
• Excellent communication, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in both office and field environments.
