Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator will primarily focus on the hiring and onboarding of qualified candidates to support Isaiah House’s workforce needs. The role also assists with employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and HR recordkeeping as needed. This position helps maintain a professional, compliant, and mission-focused workplace.

Additional Information:

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Work Environment: Hybrid (one day remote)
  • Travel Requirements: Rarely, as needed to other locations

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and in person.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to perform routine office tasks in a professional office environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and applicant communication.
  • Support new-hire onboarding, including paperwork, background checks, orientation, and HRIS entry.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files, recruiting records, and employee information.
  • Assist with employee questions, benefits administration, compliance activities, and other HR functions as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director and help ensure a positive candidate and employee experience.
