About the Role

As our school continues to grow, we are seeking an exceptional Human Resources Coordinator to join our highly professional Administration Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an outstanding employee experience from recruitment through to onboarding and beyond.

Job Overview

Reporting to the Principal and working closely with senior leaders, the Human Resources Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting all operational HR functions across the school.

The successful candidate will help ensure that all HR processes are delivered efficiently, professionally and in full compliance with UAE Labour Law, KHDA requirements and school policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the full recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and preparing offers.
  • Prepare contracts, employment documentation and onboarding paperwork.
  • Manage new starter onboarding and induction processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, visa and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor probation periods and prepare confirmation documentation.
  • Coordinate staff leave records and absence management.
  • Support performance management and employee relations processes.
  • Prepare HR letters and documentation including salary certificates, employment confirmations and contractual amendments.
  • Liaise with government authorities regarding employment documentation where required.
  • Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality at all times.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Essential

  • Degree or recognised qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum two years' HR experience within the school environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding written and verbal English communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills.
  • Ability to prioritise competing deadlines.

Desirable

  • CIPD qualification or working towards one.
  • Previous experience in an international school within Dubai or the UAE.
  • Knowledge of UAE Labour Law.
  • Experience using school management systems.

  • Only applicants with international school experience in Dubai or the UAE will be considered.
  • Submit an up-to-date, full resume/CV.
  • Submit a covering letter of no more than two A4 pages.
