HVAC Engineer (Design Consulting)
Our client, a prominent design consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical studies, equipment specifications, lighting calculations, grounding calculations, cable schedules, and wiring diagrams.
Responsibilities:
- Thermal Loads Calculations: Conduct precise thermal loads calculations for projects, utilizing software such as HAP to ensure efficient HVAC system design.
- HVAC Equipment Specifications: Define specifications for HVAC equipment, considering the specific requirements and constraints of each project.
- Duct Sizing: Perform duct sizing calculations to optimize airflow and distribution within the HVAC systems.
- Code Compliance: Stay abreast of local and international HVAC codes and standards, ensuring designs align with regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with project teams, architects, and clients to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into overall project plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC engineering, with expertise in thermal loads calculations and equipment specifications.
- Proficient in HAP software for thermal loads calculations.
- Experience in duct sizing and system optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international HVAC codes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
