ICT Support Assistant Staff
Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative and technical support to the school's ICT department. On-the-job training will be provided. Key duties include:
- IT Device Management: Administer daily technical asset loans (e.g., iPads) via the school’s Resource Booking System (RBS) and log entries via FormSG.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with Mobile Device Management (MDM) vendors to coordinate software updates, install learning apps, and conduct physical hardware checks.
- Website Management (Editor Role): Timely upload and format corporate announcements, circulars, and newsletters onto the official school website using the Isomer Next platform. (Note: Content is pre-drafted by publications staff).
- Photography & Videography: Provide full media coverage for school events, execute basic post-production trimming or cropping, and archive digital assets securely.
- e-Broadcast Dissemination: Upload and schedule internal and external school communications, tracking delivery success and escalating anomalies to the ICT Manager.
- Inventory Control: Conduct routine physical stock checks to reconcile asset tags, serial numbers, and equipment conditions against digital logs.
- Audio-Visual Support: Handle ad-hoc technical setups, including wireless microphones, mixers, and HDMI projection platforms for assemblies and presentations.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum Diploma holder from a local polytechnic, or an ITE graduate (Higher Nitec / Nitec) in an IT or Media discipline.
- Experience: Ideally possesses 1 year or more of relevant experience in a school or basic ICT-related technical environment.
- Technical Skills: Fully proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Google Workspace, Gmail, and operating a DSLR camera.
- AV Foundations: Basic operational knowledge of audio mixing consoles, sound setups, and digital display feeds.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail for web publishing, strong organisational capabilities, and the capacity to work calmly under pressure during live campus milestones.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Mondays to Fridays: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
- Off Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays
