Industrial Engineering Manager
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead capacity planning, shopfloor optimisation and productivity improvement initiatives within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Industrial Engineering team to achieve operational and business objectives.
- Analyse manufacturing capacity and recommend appropriate manpower, equipment and resource allocation.
- Develop, maintain and improve production capacity models and planning processes.
- Optimise plant and production-line layouts, including machine positioning and material flow.
- Drive improvements in machine utilisation, UPH and overall operational efficiency.
- Conduct time-and-motion studies, including MODAPTS analysis, to improve work methods and productivity.
- Develop cost models and support cost-reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and improve direct-material usage, including cost tracking and control.
- Prepare and maintain IE-related documentation, reports and process standards.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Planning and other stakeholders on improvement projects.
- Undertake other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a comparable high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in capacity planning, production planning, shopfloor layout and operational improvement.
- Prior experience leading, managing and developing a team.
- Good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes will be advantageous.
- Proficient in CAD tools, including AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
