Inside Sales Account Representative (Aerospace & Defense Electronics)
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Inside Sales Account Representative to join our growing aerospace and defense electronics team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude and microelectronics experience who wants to take on a high-impact position. Your insights, ideas, and technical expertise will be valued as you support key customers and help drive our continued growth.
You’ll manage customer relationships, support complex sales cycles, and collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams. You'll serve as a trusted partner to customers, a liaison to OEMs, and a critical member of our sales organization.
What You’ll Do
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships across engineering, procurement, and technical buying teams
• Develop account strategies to grow business and enhance customer satisfaction
• Conduct account reviews to understand customer needs, upcoming projects, timelines, and requirements
• Present product solutions, microelectronics capabilities, and engineering services
• Generate accurate quotes and manage end-to-end sales order execution
• Coordinate supplier purchase orders, change orders, and expediting needs to support on-time delivery
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing to meet customer and contractual requirements
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, metrics, and forecasts
• Negotiate pricing, order terms, and contract elements with customers
• Manage customer issues, corrective actions, and quality-related inquiries
• Monitor customer performance ratings and aged/liability inventories and drive improvements
• Participate in business reviews and deliver reporting and forecasting insights
• Communicate updates related to shipment holds, obsolescence, EOL notices, and allocation status
• Maintain accurate customer data, quotes, and records within the ERP system
• Support continuous improvement within our Quality Management System (QMS)
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000, based on experience and qualifications
