Inside Sales Manager
Major Responsibilities:
Coordinate Sales Planning
- Develop/administer KPIs, dashboards and sales business intelligence
- Provide ad hoc sales performance reporting and analysis
- Provide data on sales deficiencies, process bottlenecks and performance inconsistencies
- Provide sales productivity and capacity analysis that ties into headcount & budgets
Manage Inside Sales
- Manage inside sales team and establish processes and organizational strategy sales
- Provide oversight including mentoring, coaching, skills development, bonus plans, etc.
- Support implementation of targets and quotas by segment, geography and/or products
- Provide performance data to assist with the management and administration of sales.
- Visit customers as necessary to strengthen and protect business relationships.
Deploy Processes and Systems
- Support the development of systems and processes to optimize sales function
- Conduct process and value stream mapping to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Support the leveraging commercial information to improve market development, pricing
Train and Develop Team
- Provide training to support process implementation and employee development
- Provide development and growth plans for employees focusing on knowledge and skills.
Other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of Combined Metals.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience developing and leading inside sales function/team
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Prefer an of understanding of the metals market in which the divisions operate, including our business/industry and our competitors
- Strong ability to influence others and driving the achievement of assigned KPIs
- Expert proficiency in CRM tool(s)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Power Point, and Word
- Able to interface with end users, customers and partners comfortably and naturally
