- Develop and implement effective collection policies and procedures to maximize debt recovery.
- Lead, train, and mentor collections staff to enhance performance and development.
- Monitor team performance to ensure that collection targets are consistently met.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline collection efforts and reduce overall delinquency rates.
- Prepare and analyze reports on departmental performance and plan adjustments as necessary.
- Handle escalated collection issues and negotiate payment arrangements with high-profile clients.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to debt collection.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in collections or related field with proven managerial skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and collection management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make decisions quickly.
- Experience in developing and implementing training programs for collections teams.
- Familiarity with digital collection technologies.
- Background in negotiating with clients in financial distress.
- Knowledge of legal issues and best practices in collections.
