Interior Designer

Job Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts and space planning based on clients’ requirements.
• Prepare design proposals, layout plans, mood boards and material selections.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp and rendering software.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and other relevant parties throughout the project.
• Attend site meetings and conduct site inspections when required.
• Coordinate materials, finishes, furniture and other interior design elements.
• Ensure that design requirements and details are properly implemented on site.
• Assist with project coordination from design development through project completion.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of Enscape or other 3D rendering software is preferred.
• Good understanding of space planning, interior materials and finishes.
• Able to prepare technical and construction drawings.
• Good communication, presentation and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with good time management and organisational skills.
