Investment Analyst Intern
Founded in 2024, LUCA SGP is an MAS-licensed fund management company based in Singapore, specializing in private equity secondaries, co-investments, and other customized private market solutions. We partner with wealth management firms to deliver institutional-grade alternative investment opportunities to high-net-worth individuals and family offices across Asia. As a young, fast-moving platform operating in one of the most sought-after corners of alternative investing, we are looking for a driven and intellectually curious individual to join our investment team as an intern, with the opportunity to get hands-on exposure to live secondary and co-investment transactions from day one.
The internship will start in September 2026, with a minimum commitment of two (2) months. While the timeline is flexible, we prefer full-time candidates, though part-time arrangements of 2 to 4 days per week will also be considered.
Role & Responsibilities
• Get hands-on exposure to live private equity secondaries and co-investment transactions, from GP-led secondaries to direct co-investments, supporting research, data gathering, and materials preparation
• Build and stress-test financial models used directly in real investment decisions, including revenue projections and valuation analysis
• Conduct company and sector research, contributing to regular market monitoring and news tracking across the portfolio
• Take on independent projects over the course of the placement, with increasing ownership and responsibility as the internship progresses
• Stay on top of the latest trends shaping private markets, from secondaries pricing dynamics to new co-investment structures
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, economics, business
administration, or a related discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear, well-structured materials for a sophisticated investor audience
• Analytical mindset with a genuine interest in financial markets and alternative investments. Prior exposure to investment research or financial modelling is advantageous but not required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word. Working knowledge of Excel is expected
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and intellectually curious, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision
• Fluency in English is required. Business proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese is a plus
