Investment Operations Manager

About the role

Our client, a well established fund, is seeking an Investment Operations Manager to join their team. As an Investment Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will have end-to-end investment operations expertise, strong operational risk and control knowledge, and experience driving process automation and transformation, which will align successfully in the organization.

About the requirements

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end investment operations lifecycle across public markets, derivatives, private markets, loans, and cash instruments, ensuring timely and accurate execution aligned with market settlement cycles.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal control frameworks, policies, and SOPs, identifying and mitigating operational risks including settlement failures, reconciliation breaks, and data integrity issues.
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives, including automation of manual workflows, enhancement of data quality, and operational efficiency aligned with the investment operating model.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Front Office, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and IT to resolve operational issues and support governance objectives.
• Manage relationships with external service providers such as custodians, fund administrators, brokers, and market infrastructure providers, ensuring service levels and contractual obligations are met.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in investment operations, asset management, or financial services with multi-asset class exposure.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CISI, CPA, FRM, or equivalent are preferred.
