Applications Support Specialist (L2/L3 IT Support)
Datamars is looking for an L2/L3 Applications Support Specialist to join our growing IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, supporting users, improving systems, and working across a diverse technology landscape.
You'll combine hands-on IT support with specialist application support, working across SAP Business One, our bespoke order management system, reporting platforms, system integrations and business improvement initiatives. The Opportunity
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure & Security Manager, you'll work closely with teams across Finance, Operations, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure business-critical applications remain secure, reliable and effective.
You'll play a key role in supporting, maintaining and improving our core business systems while helping users get the most from the technology they use every day.
Key Responsibilities
Applications & ERP Support
Provide Level 2/3 support for SAP Business One and other core business applications
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Datamars' bespoke order management system (DMOS)
Configure SAP modules as business requirements evolve
Maintain item master data, business partner records and chart of accounts
Support business-critical integrations between SAP, DMOS, DocuWare, SLIM4 and other systems
Analyse and resolve integration and data flow issues
Develop and maintain SAP reports and queries
Support reporting and analytics initiatives using Microsoft Power BI
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Assist with business systems enhancements and continuous improvement projects
Improve business efficiency through technology-driven solutions
Support security, backup and disaster recovery processes
Help maintain business continuity and application availability
· As part of our collaborative IT team, you will also share responsibility for the internal helpdesk function across our five New Zealand sites.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys technology, loves solving problems and takes pride in delivering excellent support.
You'll Bring:
Experience in a Level 2 or Level 3 IT support role with a strong focus on applications
troubleshooting and analytical skills
SAP Business One experience
ERP or business applications support experience
Power BI experience
Excellent communication and relationship-building capability
Strong customer service focus
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
A proactive approach and desire to learn
Manufacturing, supply chain or operational business experience a plus
IT Degree, Diploma or equivalent industry experience
