IT Business Analyst
Job Summary
You will bridge the gap between IT and business users by analyzing systems and processes, delivering clear business requirements, and ensuring IT solutions align with business needs while adhering to risk and compliance standards in the insurance domain.
Responsibilities
- Review product and functional specifications to analyze system gaps and business processes, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with business users to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Ensure all changes comply with risk and compliance standards to maintain organizational integrity
- Organize and lead meetings or workshops with users to gather and clarify business requirements and support the creation of business workflows for documentation
- Prepare, document, and obtain sign-off on business requirements through walkthroughs and reviews with users
- Evaluate feasibility, benefits, and risks of new IT solutions, recommending process improvements aligned with business needs and compliance standards
- Define test scope, develop test plans, participate in user acceptance testing, and document test results accurately
- Develop user guides and conduct training sessions for operational users on new system deployments to ensure smooth adoption
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma in Information Technology or Business Information Systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis and user acceptance testing within the insurance domain

- Project management skills in executing and managing user acceptance testing and planning
