IT Manager – Cybersecurity & Infrastructure
Responsibilities
- Manage and strengthen the organisation's cybersecurity strategy, governance and security framework, keeping pace with emerging threats and evolving risks.
- Oversee the monitoring and investigation of cybersecurity incidents, threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring appropriate containment, remediation and follow-up.
- Coordinate regular security reviews, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for critical IT systems.
- Develop, implement and maintain IT security and data protection policies, processes and controls, including cybersecurity awareness and user training.
- Manage the organisation's IT infrastructure, network and systems environment, ensuring reliability, security, resilience and capacity to support business needs.
- Coordinate IT infrastructure and technology projects from planning through implementation, working with internal stakeholders, developers and external vendors.
- Manage technology partners and service providers, ensuring effective delivery of IT solutions and compliance with required security standards.
- Support business continuity, disaster recovery and technology resilience planning.
- Manage, coach and develop the IT team, ensuring effective day-to-day operations and delivery of IT initiatives.
- Work closely with senior management and business stakeholders on technology, cybersecurity and risk-related matters.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
- 10 years of relevant IT experience, with good exposure to both IT infrastructure and cybersecurity with team management responsibilities
- Proven experience in IT security, infrastructure management, risk management and incident response.
- Experience developing or implementing cybersecurity policies, controls and governance processes.
- Good understanding of data protection and cybersecurity requirements in Singapore.
- Exposure to data protection, PDPA compliance or DPO responsibilities will be an added advantage.
- Experience managing IT projects, vendors and external technology partners.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on, organised and proactive with strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
