IT Manager

Managing People:

Understand and adhere to the Company's values/Policies and ensure all subordinates fully comply with values, regulations, policies, Code of Conduct, terms, and conditions announced from the Human Resources Department.
Set targets/performance plans and objective standards for subordinates, meet with them one-on-one weekly to review performance, progress, and targets or whenever needed.
Deliver deep formal performance reviews/feedback for everyone from the team member Semi-annually and annually.

Odoo Implementation:

Oversee and manage the implementation of Odoo, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and optimizing business processes.
Customize and configure Odoo modules to meet specific business requirements and streamline workflows.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and implement Odoo enhancements and improvements.
Troubleshoot Odoo functionality and resolve system-related issues promptly.
Provide specialized support for Odoo-related issues and act as a technical escalation point for the team.

Security System Management:

Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies to protect our organization's information systems and data.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software, and access controls.
Stay updated with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and ensure appropriate measures are in place to mitigate risks.
Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential weaknesses.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and enforce IT security policies and procedures.

Vendor Management:

Identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with third-party service providers.
Ensure vendors meet established service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver quality services within budget.
Track vendor performance, resolve any issues or concerns, and escalate problems when necessary.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the market and assess vendor offerings for potential integration into the organization's IT infrastructure.

Infrastructure Planning:

Assess and drive process and technology roadmaps for IT Infrastructure and digital transformation.
Design and implement a robust and scalable infrastructure to support Odoo and other critical systems.
Manage activities related to infrastructure engineering, design, development, implementation, testing, and technical support.
Proactively monitor, maintain, and optimize the infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of Odoo and associated systems.
Evaluate and implement the right-fit industry products and technologies for infrastructure components such as servers, storage, networking, and security systems.
Resolve infrastructure-related bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization for Odoo and associated systems.

Budgeting:

Collaborate with senior management to develop the IT department's annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
Monitor and manage the IT budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and analyses to support decision-making.
Assist in the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective acquisition of hardware, software, and services.

Project Management:

Lead and oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource requirements.
Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and task assignments.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution and achievement of project goals.
Monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks, and communicate project status to stakeholders.

Technology Strategy:

Develop and drive the technology strategy, goals, and roadmaps in alignment with business objectives.
Maximize the potential of Odoo as a central business management platform.
Collaborate with other managers on technical issues and high-level projects involving cross-functional integration of Odoo with other systems.
Diagnose and communicate wide-scale issues, develop solutions, and optimize Odoo performance and scalability through infrastructure enhancements and tuning.

Automation and Documentation:

Automate repetitive tasks within the Odoo environment to drive efficiencies.
Document procedures, scripts, programs, processes, and standards for future reference and effective data governance.
Establish best practices and guidelines for infrastructure management, configuration, and monitoring to support Odoo operations.

Information Protection & Confidentiality:

Policy Development & Enforcement:Actively contribute to the development, review, and enforcement of information security policies, particularly those related to IT infrastructure, data management, access control, and system hardening.
Ensure the IT team's strict adherence to these policies.

Confidentiality & Data Governance:

Be accountable for maintaining the absolute confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all sensitive, personal, and confidential organizational information processed, stored, or transmitted by IT systems under their purview.

Secure System Lifecycle Management:

Ensure that security measures are integrated throughout the entire lifecycle of IT hardware, software, and systems, from procurement and installation to configuration, maintenance, and secure disposal.

Access Control Management & Audit:

Oversee the implementation and regular review of access control mechanisms within IT systems.
Ensure "least privilege" principles are consistently applied, and privileged access credentials are rigorously protected and audited.

Risk Management & Compliance:

Identify, assess, and manage IT-related security risks.
Ensure IT systems and operations comply with internal security frameworks and relevant external regulations.

Security Culture & Training:

Foster a robust security-conscious culture within the IT team through continuous training, awareness programs, and leading by example.
Ensure team members understand their security roles and responsibilities.
