IT Operation Manager(Network)

An Operations Manager (Network) is typically responsible for ensuring that an organization's network infrastructure operates reliably, securely, and efficiently. The role combines technical network oversight with operational management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day network operations (LAN, WAN, internet connectivity, VPNs, data centers, cloud networking).
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Lead incident management and troubleshoot major network outages.
  • Coordinate network maintenance, upgrades, and change management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and network governance standards.
  • Manage vendors, telecom providers, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network services.
  • Supervise network engineers, administrators, and support teams.
