IT Operations Manager - Production Site

IT SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

As an IT Operations Manager for our production site in Ludesch, you are responsible for managing the entire IT infrastructure lifecycle, including the local network, server infrastructure, workplace services, and the lifecycle of special-purpose clients. In addition, overseeing and coordinating IT security measures in collaboration with the IT Area and Global Security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies will be part of your responsibilities. You’ll monitor and control daily IT operations based on KPIs and SLAs to ensure a high level of service quality and availability.

IT OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

In this role, you’ll act as the main point of contact between local business operations, IT service owners, IT operations partners, and IT area peers, ensuring strong alignment between business requirements and IT capabilities. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where AI technologies can optimize processes, improve decision-making, and reduce manual effort.

IT PROJECT MANAGEMENT

You’ll plan and execute IT projects in line with Red Bull’s project management methodology, with a focus on maintaining and improving production-relevant IT infrastructure. Based on business requirements, you’ll contribute to delivering solutions in accordance with Red Bull’s guidelines and standards, including project management, IT service management, and documentation, while ensuring continuous operational improvement.

EXTERNAL IT PARTNER & SERVICE MANAGEMENT

As an IT Operations Manager, you’ll coordinate external IT partners in day-to-day support activities, ensuring compliance with operational procedures and service agreements. You’ll also coordinate service sourcing, hosting, and housing activities in accordance with Red Bull’s standards and requirements.

IT SERVICE IMPROVEMENT AND OPTIMIZATION

You’ll identify and implement continuous improvements to IT processes, ensuring alignment with the latest Red Bull ITSM standards. You’ll actively leverage and promote enhancements to global and area services while also contributing to the improvement of local IT services. By evaluating and leveraging AI-powered tools and automation capabilities, you’ll improve service quality, operational efficiency, and user experience.

AI & AUTOMATION ENABLEMENT

You’ll evaluate and leverage AI-powered tools and automation capabilities to improve service quality, operational efficiency and user experience.

University degree in information technology, computer science or substantial work experience in site IT management; certifications in IT management and IT Service Management are highly desirable

Fluency in English and German

Proven experience applying ITSM frameworks (e.g. incident, problem, change, and asset management) to ensure operational excellence and service quality

Experience managing IT operations and services, preferably in a production environment

Demonstrated ability to align IT services with business needs, ensuring service availability and operational stability in a dynamic production setting.

Proven ability to act as a primary business contact and work effectively with business owners, external partners, and internal stakeholders to address operational and strategic IT needs.

Experience in managing small to mid-sized IT projects, with the ability to prioritize and deliver solutions that align with business strategies and IT standards, combined with experience using monitoring tools and dashboards to track service performance and ensuring that KPIs and SLAs are met or exceeded

In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including setup, maintenance, and lifecycle management of networks, virtualization systems, and workplace services

Strong understanding of IT and OT security principles and experience in mitigating vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with global standards

Ability to identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements in IT operations, leveraging data, KPIs, and Red Bull ITSM standards

Good understanding of AI and its applications in production environments and, ideally, proven experience in enhancing processes with AI

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,535 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
