IT Operations Specialist / SRE
Summary
IT Operations Specialist/SRE supporting a banking client, owning incident/problem management (RCA), production monitoring, CI/CD deployment execution, and runbook documentation across pre-prod and production environments in a hybrid setup (Gdańsk/Gdynia/Warsaw/Łódź, 2 days/week onsite).

Main Responsibilities:
Incident & Problem Management: Own the RCA process for production incidents — diagnose, resolve, and implement preventive measures.
Production Monitoring & Support: Continuously monitor service health and act on anomalies before they escalate into incidents.
Deployment Execution: Trigger and oversee release deployments through CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot failed deployments.
Environment Oversight: Ensure stability in Pre-Production and Production environments, maintaining expected day-to-day behavior.
Runbook & Knowledge Management: Document operational procedures and known issues to build a reliable knowledge base.
Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with development and platform teams to triage issues and clarify operational requirements.
Operational Improvement: Identify pain points and propose automation to improve operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:
5+ years in IT operations or application support (2nd/3rd line).
Proven experience in end-to-end incident management.
2+ years working within an ITIL framework.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Helm deployments.
Java/J2EE development background.
Operational experience with IBM DataStage.
Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
Experience with Ansible.
