IT Project Manager (CCP for ICT Professionals)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver IT projects from initiation to closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, business analysts, developers, QA teams, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies), and status reports.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and project profitability where applicable.
- Conduct project kickoff meetings, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, steering committee meetings, and project reviews.
- Ensure timely communication of project status, risks, issues, and milestones to stakeholders.
- Facilitate requirement clarification and manage scope changes through change control processes.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, quality standards, and organizational processes.
- Support Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies based on project requirements.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment planning, and project handover activities.
- Mentor junior project coordinators or associate project managers when required.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and recommending process enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in IT Project Management.
- Proven experience managing software development, application implementation, or digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Experience in budget tracking, resource planning, and project reporting.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or equivalent certification.
- Experience managing cloud, enterprise application, ERP, CRM, or digital transformation projects.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD environments.
- Experience working with geographically distributed or offshore teams.
- Knowledge of risk management, governance, and compliance practices.
