As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our Information Technology team based in Victoria.

About the Role

Reporting to the Support Manager, you will provide first-level IT support to staff across Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced operational environment, where responsive and practical IT support is essential to keeping our people and projects moving.

As the first point of contact for technical support, you will assist users with with Microsoft 365, desktop and laptop hardware, printers, networking, mobile devices and Lantrak's internally developed business applications.

The role is primarily based on-site in Victoria and includes occasional travel to company locations. Due to the nature of the business, some work may be required outside standard business hours, including early starts or late finishes, to support system maintenance, upgrades and business operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 IT support to staff.

  • Support Microsoft 365, Windows, laptops, desktops, printers, mobiles and networking.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues.

  • Support internal business applications.

  • Set up new users, devices and system access.

  • Assist with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.

  • Maintain IT asset records and support documentation.

  • Follow IT security practices and improve support processes.

About you:

  • Experience in IT Support, Service Desk or Desktop Support.

  • Hands on experience supporting printers, desktop, laptops and other IT hardware

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.

  • Experience supporting Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Office.

  • Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi and VPN.

  • Experience with Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID.

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and organisational skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach.

  • Able to manage competing priorities and work independently.

  • Current Australian Driver Licence.

Desirable:

  • 3CX or general PBX/phone systems

  • ConnectWise RMM experience.
