Your new role
- Spend approximately 80% of the time on hands-on programming and development activities.
- Develop, enhance, modify, and maintain applications within the Global Markets environment.
- Collaborate with global teams to design and build new functionality on MuleSoft, TIBCO, and other shared platforms.
- Interact directly with end users, compliance teams, and senior stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
- Manage technology solutions in a high-risk environment, leveraging deep banking domain and product knowledge.
- Provide Level 3 production support for business-critical applications.
- Strong Java developer with extensive experience in building middle-tier services.
Requirements:
- Hands-on developer with strong Core Java expertise and the ability to work across multiple frameworks.
- Good understanding of messaging frameworks and technologies, including IBM MQ, Kafka, and JMS.
- Knowledge of RDBMS, JDBC, Linux, XML, and in-memory databases.
- Experience using design patterns and adhering to software engineering best practices.
- Experience with SDLC automation tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, GitHub, Artifactory, and Ansible.
- Strong commitment to clean code principles.
- Adheres rigorously to Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and Continuous Integration (CI)
- Good understanding of Global Markets, particularly SWIFT messaging.
