SFC India is building a platform to support the decarbonization of India’s freight ecosystem across road, rail, maritime and aviation. We convene government ministries, regulators, industry leaders, research institutions, and global climate actors to accelerate the transition toward greener freight systems. Our ambition is to build a credible and scalable Green Freight platform for India, delivering impact at national scale.

You will work at the intersection of communications, climate action and the freight sector, helping translate SFC India’s work into clear and engaging stories for different audiences. The role offers exposure to both India and global communications, with opportunities to work across content, digital communications, design and campaigns.

✏️ About the Position
As Junior Communications Manager, you will work with the Communications Manager, India, to deliver SFC India’s communications across content, digital platforms, visual communications and campaigns.
You will develop content, create visual assets, coordinate digital publishing, and deliver communications for events and key initiatives. You will also work with internal teams and the global communications team to gather information and coordinate communications activities.

The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of assigned projects while developing experience across corporate communications in the climate and sustainability space.

⭐ What You Will Drive
  • Support theIndia Communications team in implementing SFC India’s communications strategy, campaigns and communications calendar
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and develop clear, engaging communication materials
  • Develop communications materials including LinkedIn posts, newsletters, website content, announcements, presentations, one-pagers, blogs, casestudiesand other content
  • Manage SFC India’s LinkedIn channel, including content planning, scheduling,publishingand basic performance monitoring.
  • Manage regular updates and content for the SFC India website, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure information isaccurate,timelyand up to date.
  • Create simple,professionaland on-brand communication materials using Canva, photoshopor similar design tools, including social media creatives,videos,presentations, event banners, one-pagersand infographics
  • Ensure communications materials are aligned with SFC’s brand guidelines, messaging and tone of voice.
  • Coordinate communications for events, webinars,workshopsand stakeholder engagements, including invitations, eventmaterialsand post-event amplification.
  • Research relevant industry news, trends and conversations across freight,logistics, transport,climateand sustainability toidentifycontent and communications opportunities
  • Maintain communications trackers,social mediacalendars,and campaign documentation
  • Coordinate with the SFC global communications team and internal stakeholders to align messaging and deliver communications outputs on time.
Experience & Background
We welcome candidates with 2-3 years of experience in communications, corporate communications, content, digital communications, marketing communications or a related field

Education
Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Media Studies or a related discipline

⭐ Skills and Capabilities
  • Strong writing,editingand storytelling skills
  • Good understanding of corporate communications, digitalcommunicationsand social media
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn and content creation
  • Basic to intermediate design skills using Canva, Adobe or similar tools
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to simplify technical,policyor sustainability-related information
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
  • Experience in climate, sustainability,logistics,transportor infrastructure is an added advantage
