Junior Draughtsman
Our client is seeking a Junior Draughtsman to join the Port Elizabeth team,
- Prepare
and revise technical drawings according to project specifications.
- Responsible for drawing issues and follow-up.
- Collaborate with senior draughtsmen and
project teams to ensure accuracy.
- Filing of completed jobs.
- Monitoring & reporting on progress of
drawings.
- Designing products to be constructed in a
feasible manner.
- Ensure all designs meet industry and company
quality standards.
- Maintain drawing records and update
documentation as required.
- Assist with design modifications and
continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Grade
12
- Minimum
1 year relevant experience
- Relevant draughting
qualification/certification
- Proficiency in AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor
(essential)
- Understanding
of engineering drawings, manufacturing principles and drafting standards
- Proficiency
in MS Office
