The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Junior Test Analyst to play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. This is an opportunity for a hands-on testing professional who enjoys working closely with developers, contributing to continuous improvement, and helping deliver high-quality solutions in the operational technology space.

Your Role

As a Junior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing tests to support the continuous development and deployment of our software solutions. Your day-to-day will involve:

· Collaborating with developers to understand product requirements and develop effective test strategies

· Designing and executing test cases covering functionality, performance, reliability, scalability, and security

· Utilising automated testing tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage

· Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies

· Providing clear, actionable feedback to support timely issue resolution

· Contributing ideas that help the team continuously improve its practices and processes

· Maintaining clear documentation of testing processes and outcomes

· Staying up to date with testing tools, methodologies, and industry trends

What We're Looking For

· 1-2 years’ experience in software testing or quality assurance

· Strong understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies

· Proficiency with automated testing tools and frameworks

· Hands-on experience testing REST APIs

· Ability to write and interpret SQL queries of moderate complexity

· Strength in integration and regression testing

· Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

· Strong communication and inter-relationship skills, able to explain test outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

· Experience with JIRA or similar issue and project tracking tools

· Experience testing commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software is an advantage

· Hands-on experience testing website and REST APIs

· Hands-on experience with Selenium; Playwright; Jest; Typescript; JSON, Jira programmes

· Well versed in use of AI-Tools (Claude, Copilot, etc.) in testing
