KYC Analyst
You will own end-to-end onboarding reviews for retail clients, including complex, high-risk, and exception cases. You will resolve client queries and complaints, identify process gaps, guide junior colleagues, monitor regulatory developments, escalate system issues, and improve onboarding processes and controls.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end review and onboarding for retail clients
- Handle complex, high-risk, and exception cases
- Resolve client queries and complaints related to onboarding and KYC
- De-escalate complex cases where needed
- Identify onboarding exceptions and process gaps
- Recommend ways to reduce risk
- Train and mentor KYC Associates
- Monitor regulatory and AML developments
- Update relevant procedures
- Escalate system and process issues
- Support continuous improvement of onboarding processes and controls
Requirements
- 1–2 years' experience performing KYC or AML activities
- Understanding of end-to-end KYC and retail client onboarding processes
- Risk awareness covering operational, compliance, and reputational risks
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with AML and KYC regulations and industry guidelines
- Working knowledge of MS Excel
- Written and spoken English communication skills
- Experience with an internationally regulated retail client base
- Experience handling client queries and resolving complaints
- Experience training, coaching, or mentoring junior team members is desirable
- Exposure to process improvement, quality assurance, or audit work is desirable
- Experience using AI tools is desirable
