Job Title: Laboratory Manager @ Bethel, AK

License, Certification, Registration: CLS- ASCP, AMT eligible and obtains within one year of hire or equivalent

Incidentals provided by facility: First 30 days of housing provided

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Manager to oversee our laboratory operations in Bethel, AK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results, managing laboratory staff, and ensuring compliance with laboratory regulations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Oversee the laboratory operations and manage laboratory staff

- Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results

- Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and policies

- Develop and implement laboratory quality assurance programs

- Manage laboratory inventory and supplies

- Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinical teams, and external laboratories as required

- Prepare reports and maintain accurate laboratory records

- Train laboratory staff on new procedures and laboratory techniques

- Ensure proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or related field

- 3+ years of laboratory management experience

- Knowledge of laboratory regulations and policies

- Experience with laboratory quality assurance programs

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficiency with laboratory equipment and software
