Lead Back-end Engineer - Golang, Websocket
- Structure API’s that facilitate a clean user experience
- Work with front-end engineers, designers, and business stakeholders
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Leadership experience in software development product environments
- Golang experience
- Strong experience in building features on top of Websocket
- Strong experience in Cloud environments
- Strong Relational databases experience
- Strong experience in software testing, refactoring practices, and security practices
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Startup experience
- Experience with Gorilla WebSocket, GCP, and PostgreSQL
- Experience with the following stack:
- Assets-heavy apps (images, videos, etc)
- Object-relational mapping (ORM) experience (GORM is a plus)
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
- Datadog
- Mailgun
- SendGrid
- Webflow
- Stripe (payments)
- Serveless (Vercel Lambdas)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
