Lead Data Engineer

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or a related field
Strong SQL skills and experience with complex data transformations
Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, or Snowflake
Strong experience with ETL/ELT, data orchestration, and data warehousing/lakehouse solutions
Experience with Airflow, dbt, Spark, and streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis
Proficiency in Python
Strong understanding of data modeling and analytics-ready datasets
Experience working with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data solutions
Experience with data quality, metadata, and scalable data pipelines
Strong English communication skills
Ability to work with US overlap

Nice to have:

Data governance, lineage, or metadata management
Experience with cross-domain data such as customer, product, or transaction data
Financial services or other data-intensive industry experience
Experience with data platform migration or evolution toward Databricks
Dimensional modeling, data marts, and reusable datasets
Airflow / Cloud Composer
