  • Act as subject matter expert on battery pack architecture, module design, and performance optimization
  • Conduct simulation/analysis and prototyping to validate capacity, runtime, and thermal performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, suppliers, and Marketing to evaluate feasibility and align on technical direction
  • Present findings and recommendations backed by data to internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Engage with global and regional suppliers to support design and sourcing decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on battery pack design experience, including simulation/analysis (ANSYS preferred), 3D CAD (CREO or SolidWorks preferred), prototyping, and performance verification (capacity, runtime, thermal)
  • Structural or thermal battery pack design experience (at least one required)
  • Experience working within global or regional supplier ecosystems
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with spec writing, development planning, and design reviews
  • Familiarity with UL/UN/IEC compliance standards
