- Own the enterprise Disaster Recovery strategy, framework, and governance.
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and define RTOs/RPOs together with business stakeholders.
- Plan and execute Disaster Recovery exercises, including failover/failback testing, with post-test reports and remediation tracking.
- Ensure backup, replication, and recovery solutions meet regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, ISO 22301, ISO 27001).
- Maintain Disaster Recovery documentation, recovery runbooks, and dependency maps.
- Manage third-party vendors supporting backup, replication, and Disaster Recovery services.
- Define and report Disaster Recovery KPIs to senior management and support crisis management during business disruptions.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Continuity Management, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or business continuity, including 3–4 years focused specifically on enterprise Disaster Recovery.
- Hands-on experience defining and validating RTOs/RPOs and translating them into technical recovery requirements.
- Proven track record planning and executing Disaster Recovery exercises for critical systems, with structured post-test reporting.
- Solid technical understanding of backup and recovery technologies across on-premises and cloud environments (e.g., Veeam, Zerto, AWS/Azure DR).
- Working knowledge of DORA, ISO 22301, and ISO 27001, including audit preparation experience.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; fluent English required, German language skills are an advantage.
