Lead Java Developer

We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our team and drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions while mentoring team members and championing engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable Java-based applications
• Drive the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines
• Leverage GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency and code quality
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
• Guide the team through architectural decisions and technical strategy
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers to foster their technical growth
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Java development
• Experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical issues
• Background in FinTech
• Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, C++, and Python
• Background in Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
• Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting
