Lead Motion Designer on EPAM's global Creative and Marketing team, producing premium motion graphics, visual storytelling, and B2B/tech video content using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma, with generative AI integrated into the workflow.

We are seeking a highly creative Lead Motion Designer to join our global Creative and Marketing team.

In this role, you will focus on high-end visual storytelling, modern video production, and translating complex tech concepts into compelling motion experiences. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging generative AI responsibly, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, maintaining exceptional project organization, and delivering premium creative under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Transform complex B2B and technical concepts into intuitive, emotionally engaging visual narratives through strong storytelling, design thinking, and motion
  • Produce premium-quality motion graphics under tight deadlines while adapting quickly to evolving creative direction and stakeholder feedback
  • Work seamlessly in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud to review storyboards, develop key visuals, translate static designs into motion, and collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and creative leads
  • Build highly organized After Effects projects that are easy to inherit, maintain, scale, and hand off across global creative teams
  • Integrate generative AI into ideation, concept development, asset creation, and production workflows while safeguarding proprietary information, brand integrity, and intellectual property
  • Create engaging motion content tailored to modern social platforms, balancing technical specifications, audience behavior, and emerging creative trends

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional relevant experience in motion design or a related creative field
  • At least 1 year of experience in people management or team leadership, overseeing a team of 5 or more FTEs
  • Proven background in producing motion graphics for editorial, branded content, social media, or corporate storytelling
  • Expert understanding of animation principles, including timing, easing, pacing, rhythm, visual weight, and cinematic transitions
  • Strong design foundation with command of composition, typography, layout, color theory, visual hierarchy, and storytelling fundamentals
  • Advanced project organization skills, with the ability to build scalable, well-structured projects featuring organized assets, reusable templates, clear composition hierarchy, manageable expressions, and meticulous layer naming
  • AI fluency and creative judgment, with confidence using generative AI to accelerate creative workflows while applying strong visual sense and awareness of AI limitations, copyright, and brand compliance
  • Constant curiosity for evolving visual languages, social platforms, filmmaking techniques, and emerging creative technologies
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop, along with collaborative workflows in Figma
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher, both written and verbal
