Lead Software Engineer, Oracle

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer, Oracle to join our technical team and drive the design, implementation, and support of NetSuite ERP solutions, with a particular focus on revenue recognition and Advanced Revenue Management capabilities. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to translate business needs into optimal technical solutions, leveraging native NetSuite features as a foundational objective.

Responsibilities

• Participate in discussions with stakeholders to identify challenges, difficulties, and new capabilities, and produce recommendations for optimal solutions
• Capture functional specifications and design documentation for NetSuite implementations
• Produce demo code and full code solutions to address specific business needs
• Implement code solutions with fully supportive unit tests, in accordance with project standards
• Provide post-production support for NetSuite ERP functions, particularly revenue recognition
• Apply full SDLC capability across requirements/analysis, design/documentation, implementation, verification, and support phases
• Consume and synthesize information from stakeholders, existing implementation artifacts, and senior management direction on operational improvement objectives
• Collaborate within a team environment alongside multiple developers, QA, and analysts
• Maintain availability daily from 8am ET to 5pm ET

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite Order To Cash (OTC), Advanced Revenue Module (ARM), item catalog structure and management
• Experience with NetSuite record structures, scripts, RESTlets, and general NetSuite internals
• Deep knowledge of revenue recognition functions and processes, along with NetSuite-specific features and capabilities to support them
• Experience with SDF, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with strong team orientation
• Ability to understand and absorb information quickly and respond with recommendations demonstrating clear understanding
• Experience in test/verification protocols as part of full SDLC capability
• Self-starter mentality with initiative and the ability to work independently
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• NetSuite certifications, especially in development and revenue recognition areas
• Familiarity with OneWorld, Multi-Currency, and NSAW modules
• Background in Advanced Revenue Management in production environments
