Short Description
- Assist management in ensuring that support services associates are fully oriented, trained, and capable of and willing to perform all the duties outlined.
- Able to and willing to perform all assigned duties within the Laundry, Patient Transport and Environmental as assigned or needed.
- The performance and quality standards for the assignment will be met constantly.
- This position has indirect supervisory duties as needed to help direct and guide staff as needed. The position has no budgetary duties.
- Receives in-service and performs proper cleaning and care of all equipment.
- Attends and follows all in-services provided annually, monthly, weekly and as arises.
- Follows all hospital and departmental policies consistently.
- Performs assigned duties to the designated standard at all times.
- Individual must have a willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continual basis, accept supervision from a number of persons, and perform tasks despite frequent interruptions.
- The ability to perform tasks with due consideration for patients, staff, visitors in the vicinity.
- Physical requirements are noted on the ADA compliance reports.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
License/Certification Requirements
License (or Certification):BLS Required
