Learning & Development Assistant Manager
Introduction:
We are a dynamic and rapidly growing F&B hospitality group in Singapore, known for our innovative concepts and vibrant dining experiences. As we continue to expand our footprint and brand portfolio, we are looking for a passionate and people-focused Learning & Development Assistant Manager to drive training initiatives and support the development of our teams across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement learning and development programmes aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
Work closely with Operations, HR, and management teams to identify training needs and develop relevant programmes for different levels of employees.
Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and orientation programmes for new hires across the group.
Plan and deliver training programmes covering service standards, product knowledge, leadership, soft skills, and other operational requirements.
Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, presentations, guides, and other learning resources.
Conduct training needs analysis and identify opportunities to improve employee capabilities and performance.
Support the development of leadership and management training programmes to build a strong internal talent pipeline.
Work closely with outlet managers and department heads to ensure training is effectively implemented on the ground.
Track and evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, performance observations, and other relevant metrics.
Maintain accurate training records and monitor employee completion and compliance with required programmes.
Coordinate with external trainers, consultants, and training providers where required.
Stay up to date with industry trends, learning methodologies, and best practices in F&B and hospitality training.
Support employee engagement and development initiatives across the group.
Requirements:
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, HR, or a related role, preferably within the airlines, luxury, education, or service industry.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Training & Development, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in designing, coordinating, and delivering training programmes.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage employees at all levels.
Hands-on and comfortable conducting training both in a classroom setting and on the operational floor.
Strong understanding of service standards and hospitality operations is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training programmes and priorities.
Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
