Legal Counsel

Job Description:

• Report to and work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel to provide legal support for the activities in the region
• Consider and advise on legal issues arising from business activities and projects
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify and manage risks and create solutions
• Draft, review and negotiate agreements such as third party and outsourcing contracts, investment management agreements
• Managing external counsels when required
• Collaborate with the wider Legal team globally on group-wide initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Law
• Singapore qualified with at least 5 years’ PQE
• Knowledge and experience in financial industry. Experience in asset management industry would be an advantage.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of risk management
• Strong command of English (spoken and written). Proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage.
