Linux Administrator for IT Services
Job Summary
- Work experience with Linux as an Administrator, one should able to work independently at client location. Providing technical support and troubleshooting to the internal users at client locations Updating hardware and software packages, revising documentation, installing computer and network systems, removing malware and other security threats, monitoring computer system backups, and preventing data corruption.
- Key Responsibility
- Rack & Stack, Installation, Configuration, Commissioning and connectivity of Servers &Nodes, Windows Operating System, Redhat Linux and related environment at Client location.
- Resolving of Networking, Servers & Node related problems.
- Real time trouble shooting & Servicing of Servers, Desktops & Networking
- Installing, configuring & updating of software patches, Antivirus, MS Outlook/Outlook express.
- Day to Day Backups.
- Handling of In house (At Office) IT Maintenance.
- Comparison of Server Specifications with Tender Specification.
- Preparation of Compliance Statement. Identifying Model of the Server/Desktops based on customer tender specification. One should learn new technology when he is free.
- Association with Customer at Site
- One should maintain good customer relation to make smooth operations at site. Need to motivate to Customer in terms of business growth of the Company.
