Logistics Operations Specialist (temporary)

Your tasks and responsibilities

You will work in our X-Dock department. This is where trucks arrive, goods are unloaded in the warehouse, and shipments are sorted according to their final destination. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for all documentation related to shipments, including customs documents and ocean freight documentation.

• Opening operational files in our internal systems and managing them from start to finish.
• Handling invoicing.
• Ensuring timely data processing and shipment follow-up.
• Managing both incoming and outgoing orders.
• Communicating with customers.

Your profile

• You have completed a degree or training in logistics. Experience in freight forwarding is an advantage.
• You have strong administrative skills and are comfortable working with computers and various software applications.
• You have a hands-on mentality, can identify priorities, and know how to get things done.
• In addition to being able to work independently, you are also a true team player.
• Communicative, resilient under pressure, accurate, proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented are qualities that describe you well.
• Being familiar with basic logistics formalities, such as CMR, Packing Lists, T1, and EX-A documents is an advantage.
• You have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• You are open to a temporary position under interim contract.
