M44 - Full Stack Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Engineering team to solve business problems and transform architectural concepts into production-ready systems across our full technology stack.

In this role, you will build and maintain in-house platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, Lambda functions, and both backend and frontend applications, while ensuring governance and compliance standards are met. You will also play an active role in driving engineering excellence and continuously improving development practices across the team

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level architectural concepts into scalable, production-ready technical solutions.
• Build, enhance, and maintain in-house platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, AWS Lambda functions, and backend/frontend applications.
• Ensure applications and systems comply with governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable applications.
• Contribute to improving engineering standards, development processes, and best practices across the team.
• Develop maintainable, high-quality code while balancing technical excellence with business needs.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Requirements

Architecture & Compliance

• Proven ability to translate high-level concepts into scalable technical implementations.
• Experience implementing security controls and compliance requirements in production environments.
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit logging.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with system integration and event-driven architectures.

Technical Capabilities

• Minimum 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as C#, Java, Node.js, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue.js, jQuery, CSS, or similar.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform, on AWS.
• Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, and other serverless workloads.
• Experience with web server technologies such as IIS, Apache, or similar.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Good understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
