Machine Learning Engineer in Financial Services
You will help develop financial services using AI and machine-learning technologies. You will participate from business requirements definition and prototyping through product development, define software and machine-learning quality requirements, establish development practices, conduct code reviews and testing, and improve MLOps maturity.
Responsibilities
- Develop financial services using machine-learning technologies
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists on productization
- Participate in business requirements definition and Jupyter-based prototyping
- Guide projects toward the main product-development phase from a machine-learning engineering perspective
- Define software and machine-learning system quality requirements
- Set team development policies
- Promote code reviews and testing
- Establish development practices that improve efficiency and quality
- Improve MLOps maturity across PayPay
Requirements
- Product development experience using Python
- Team development experience using package management, testing tools, and linters
- Experience using major data-processing and machine-learning libraries
- Experience or knowledge of MLOps
- Experience designing ML pipeline architectures
- Knowledge of workflow engines, particularly ML system workflow management
- Development experience using cloud services
- Ability to communicate in Japanese
- Experience contributing to machine-learning libraries or open-source software
- Experience developing internal MLOps platforms
- Team leadership experience with approximately 5 to 10 or more people
- Research or reproduction implementation experience in machine learning or data science
- A degree in data science or computer science
- Business English
