Maintenance Manager

General Expectations and Responsibilities

• Receives and processes maintenance requests as they are developed from various departments.
• Direct maintenance personnel to execute maintenance requests according to priority.
• Work with the purchasing department to procure replacement components for equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment such as electrical installations, overhead cranes, CNC equipment, and rolling stock.
• Manage the maintenance crew.
• Facilitates testing equipment to locate defects and measure performance.
• Determines the need for adjustments and verifies specified and proper operation.
• May be assigned to operate a variety of equipment including forklifts, cranes, loaders, and various production equipment.
• Organizes various inspections for the facility to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance, electrical circuits, and machine functions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform effective diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Perform effective diagnostic testing and troubleshooting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
