Manager - Agency Recruitment & Events

The Manager Recruitment & Events is responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruitment initiatives, managing recruitment events, and ensuring high-quality execution. This role focuses on enhancing acquisition efforts through innovative sourcing methods, optimizing event impact, and leading a team of event officers to drive recruitment success.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies that would encourage and attract the agency force to recruit. Collaborate & conduct regular calibrations with recruitment team to ensure strategies are aligned with desired goals and targets

  • Ensure that coordination with work units (ie CAM, Marketing) for the procurement of event items; development of presentations / posters / designs / logos; approval of designs/material/quality of items are updated and on track

  • Validate and confirm promotion of Build your Business sessions and other similar recruitment platforms to necessary channels, ensuring prompt production and release of materials (ie videos, posters, tarpaulin banners, email and SMS blasts, social media posting, etc) to the Agency Force

  • Perform post-event activities. Track and analyze event metrics to measure success and identify improvement areas. – i.e. Database management, report generation, request for payments, distribution of tokens to resource speakers, budget tracking, etc

  • Monitor industry trends and competitors’ strategies to enhance recruitment effectiveness. Continuously improve event processes to optimize recruits’ experience and hiring outcomes. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruitment event officers to ensure efficiency and productivity. Foster a culture of creativity and collaboration with the events team. Oversee and manage logistics, budget allocation for Build your Business sessions and other similar recruitment platforms, ensuring efficient utilization of funds while maintaining the quality of rewards and tokens

  • Compliance - Ensure that all company policies, procedures, programs and instruction are carried out and be familiar and understand Pru Life UK Compliance Standards. Must be fully aware of his/her responsibilities and competent to carry them out to the required standards. Must report all compliance matters openly and honestly to their Compliance Officer in accordance with the reporting requirements operated by the Compliance Officer. Must operate a process within his/her department to ensure that all relevant compliance matters are identified and reported

  • Perform other functions as may be assigned

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Proven experience in recruitment, events management, or employer branding

  • Project Management and Event Organization experience or training is preferred

  • Knowledge of current recruitment trends and best practices

  • Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging events

  • Proficient in MS Office applications; Event Management, Organizational Skills, Presentation Skills, Creative Thinking, Excellent Communication Skills, Adept in Project Management and Project Scheduling

  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action plans. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a team

  • At least 6 years of experience in Recruitment, Marketing, Sales, Training, Hospitality Services, Event Management
