Summary: We are seeking an experienced Data Systems Manager to act as a liaison between business and IT leadership. This role is crucial for identifying business-critical information, managing Decision Support staff, and ensuring that Decision Support Systems (DSS) and Executive Information Systems (EIS) align with business priorities. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of corporate strategies and have the ability to manage and prioritize diverse business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between business and IT leadership to identify and prioritize information needs.
  • Manage the Decision Support staff to ensure the development and support of DSS and EIS systems.
  • Work closely with business leaders to define critical information needs and assess current systems and emerging technology capabilities.
  • Lead research, evaluation, and selection of new technologies to meet business needs.
  • Conduct cost and feasibility studies to support technology decisions.
  • Ensure effective project management processes are in place and manage resources to deliver quality and timely solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of IT work experience, including managing teams responsible for database, data warehouse, DSS, and EIS development and support.
  • Experience in middle-level management within the data warehouse function.
  • Strong skills in process and data modeling, data architectural development, IT planning, consulting, and project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise data and decision-making processes.
